@INRUT do you work at a steel warehouse or haul exclusively for them. I believe all of your pictures are unfabricated steel (?)
Are your loads preloaded or do you live load? And how many stops do you usually go out with?
I hauled structural for many years with mostly just 1 stop. I interviewed with a small local steel warehouse and the guy pretty much wanted to hire me on the spot. After some consideration I didn’t like the idea of chaining and unchaining all day long and some of the material might require tarps…not for me -
Work for a local supplier, all preloaded. Usually 1-5 stops out & back 150-300 miles. We have very few customers that require tarps. We do pick up back hauls at the mills, but there preloaded also. Usually in & out in 30-45 minutes.
