That's the way some of A.Busch's can plant would do only they would line it up on a long rolling platform, then push a button and the machine would roll the entire load in automatically. That way they could stage loads waiting for trailers ahead of time.

 

Has anyone heard how @DonRobbie is doing? I see it’s been a month since he’s logged on here.

Be mindful when crossing Fuel Lanes…
… they aren’t always stopping for fuel.

Today, I was walking across the Fuel Lanes at a Loves and this truck is coming up quick to the pumps… and yup, didn’t even really slow down at the pumps but drove straight on through… didn’t even stop in the pull up n park space ahead of the pumps… just rolled on through… I stopped in time but there was no way he could have stopped had I continued to walk in front of his truck… I “politely” tossed my hands, arms, and shoulders up into a WTF shrug and he just waved back.

hear the air brakes or make eye contact… or just stop.

I believe he took time off for health issues. Hope he's doing okay. Met him in the ACT yard just a few months ago

 

I used to run a load of seat frames from MI to MO like that. Usually four pushes and they were done.

 

I just realized something

When I was at Magnum I had to fill out a sheet of paper so they could run my MVR at the beginning of the year. I never had to do that here. Does the company run it more often than yearly?

 

That requirement was eliminated in 2022. Companies pull your record annually on their own.
