That’s what I did. Mine honked every time I got out of the truck because of the laggy “door open warning” crap.

Things changed a bit (for the good). While I was waiting in line to fuel up, I message my travel agent and told him that I was gonna be at the truckstop down the road from my delivery by noon central today, and asked if they could see if there was an earlier appointment available, something earlier than 1600 tomorrow. Within 20 minutes, I got a preplan. I am swapping loads with another driver later today and headed to Lincoln for a Thursday morning unload. Turns out, the driver didn't have the hours, so he is gonna deliver this load tomorrow and I am gonna take his load to Lincoln for Thursday. THIS is the reason I push so hard. Had I not pushed to be here this early, then I wouldn't have been in the position to run the load to Lincoln. And, since I am not going home for Thanksgiving, that puts me in a position for a load out of Lexington or Grand Island headed west if one is available. Sometimes things do work out right here (and I share the positive times as well as the negative, so, all you naysayers who say I am nothing but a whiny crybaby, I just have one thing to say about that .......:p). I may have to change my user name from Supersnackbar to Squeaky Wheel, since you have to squeak to keep the grease coming

Already have a preplan. After I deliver in Lincoln Thursday morning, I pick up in Lincoln at noon going to SLC for Saturday anytime.

I considered Shaffer at one point a few years back until the recruiter called me back saying “Sir we would love to have you come on over before we lower pay”. I said “I’m sorry, did you say before you lower pay? So if I come in at a rate, you intend to lower it?” “Yes sir we raise it for a while then lower it for a while”. I politely asked her to lose my number lol.

According to the receiver, they now take all Kings Hawaiian loads to the Snowdrift warehouse (not just during after hours like the load notes say). I told my travel agent that, not sure if they're gonna confirm it with the receiver and change it or just keep sending those to the wrong warehouse and then the driver has to head to the right place.

Don’t hold your breath for customer service to do anything about it… If there is one aspect in this company that they need to do a complete overhaul it is customer service. The CS reps here are pathetic. They don’t seem to think that the rest of us need to know anything
