Are those 5 days out 2 days home schedules? Also, does hydrogen have the tight backing of nitrogen and oxygen hospitals/small yards or is it more wide open places? I can back, but it's better to know up front than to be surprised by a situation after the fact.
Thank you

Hydrogen Is 5 days out 2 home but their are some teams that stay out longer because they choose to.
Helium teams are 3 weeks out and 1 week home.
Usually is about the same on backing. Many of the customers have the tanks next to each other or close by in the same area. -
Got it. That's clear. Thank you
Friend and viper822004 Thank this. -
We've had a mass hiring period where we have 12 new drivers in the last 7 months. Seems they now want drivers at 50 hours a week.
This slow transition may have started this year but seems compounded by the unsure economy, and I'm sure will change course again.
It's a great career as long as you can follow the rules they have in place.
Not sure of the maximum salary currently but as hourly drivers we are at the mercy of the planners.Friend and viper822004 Thank this. -
Note that those higher paying cryo gigs...are usually in locations that also have higher overall costs of living.

Cryo jobs in the southeast typically don't pay nearly as much...as those discussed above.
Here in the deep south -- it would appear that the right driver can make more pulling fuel, instead (at least, as of the time of this post).

I....for one....would appreciate anyone's commentary/description on how to "up your game"....with more thorough tank trailer pre & post trips -- to better prevent the kind(s) of leak that occurred with the above-mentioned AirGas anhydrous ammonia accident...???

Yes....the following Forum thread discusses some possible leak sources -- but doesn't really directly talk about all possible driver pre- & post-trip checkpoints:
Anhydrous ammonia truck leaks causing evacuation in Oklahoma

So where is my high paying cryo job? Because I have seen people claim Maine is like Californiaviper822004 Thanks this.

Notice in the above I said, "usually"....as opposed to "always".

I couldn't tell ya. Thats a whole different ball game from your normal cryo gases. Our stuff is always venting out of the trailer lol
