I'm going sometime next week to take a look at 3 International 9400's. Only looking to buy one, but there are three to choose from. Two have 10 speed FRO15210c, and on has a FRO16210c. Just a little different load ratings. All have ISX's(450hp EGR's I think.) and 3.58 rears. They're are the smaller stand up sleepers and I believe the wheel base is 210 on them. Mileage ranges from 348,000-423,000. All are 04's. According to them, they've all been recently dyno'd and can provide documentation of it. What else, when it comes to these trucks should I look for? Only truck I've ever owned was an 03 Columbia, so I really know nothing about these. They're cheap, 17,000 each.

don't really know much about the ISX's, but the cab on the 9400's are pretty solid. I run INT and my dad runs FL and it seems like the FL's have more problems with guages going bad, and the door latches don't seem to last either. My current truck is a '00 9400 with 980,000 miles and I've replaced one guage and that's about it for non drivetrain repairs, I had the same experience with the '94 9200 I had before the current one. The only gripe I have is I don't think INT runs a big enough radiator since my trucks seem to run a little hotter than the FL's my dad runs, and the INT's seem to be alot more picky about what kind of steer tire you run. Tires that last on a FL seem to get tore up quicker on a INT.

Without a crystal ball it is hard to say. I would take each one for a short road test and go with the one that "feels" right.

Thanks for the replies. I've decided to go another route and not buy another truck. Back to letting someone else worry about it.
