Crusty, old, negative, driver with a bad attitude here with yet another thread trying to discourage you hard working wannabes with good work ethics about going to CRE....

More crickets.....Owl hooting in background...sound of coyotes...Still waiting for those big numbers...

He won't be posting any big numbers with C R England. I drove for them and I can tell from first hand experience with them.
In all fairness I will say that they had some things that were ok but in my opinion, they are not a great company to drive for. He'll find out once he gets there and signs a lease and then gets out on the road! LOL -
seems to be a thing on here!

I used to receive for a food warehouse in WVA and we had a average of 1-4 Crs unloaded in a week span .
They where always pissed off ,i alway thought that maybe they just had a bad day and just turned my cheek.
But after doing my research i relize what kind of hardships they went through.
The warehouse i worked was small only 13 dock doors and limited space, and only 2 receivers .
Which done more than pull off ,receive ,shipped, also had to stock, and find homes for product.
But i always got along with most of the drivers from CR i knew most only had a few months and where our docks where real close and the creek was only 65ft from the dock i would let them try to back their trucks for 20-30 min but then asked if they needed me to back it in .
Some where grateful some where not (lol)
Again only me backing doesnt make me a truck driver.
But some of the storys where down right sick that they could be treated as bad as they where, yes others #####ed but the CR guys seemed like that one more problem ,they could bring a automatic and shoot us all
smallhauls1 Thanks this. -
Maybe it doesn't make you a truck driver but it will help when you go to training. You need all the backing up practice you can get when your in training or driving your first year or two..

SLC said he was gonna post some numbers later this week....
He seems to tell it like it is. I think he is doing well....but he has the right attitude and work ethic too. I hope the smallhauls guy posts again...I'm just curious how he's doing, good or bad. This forum is like tv for me...can't get enough. -
Yeah it is a fun place I agree...

B I N G O !!
Backin', and shiftin', are usually the last things mastered.
On a 3,000 mile, point A to point B run, how far do you reckon y'all
would'a backed up during that time?
Less than a mile?
But it seemed like more? :smt087
Any student who already has backin' figured out is gonna make their
driver trainer's day. Now they can concentrate on the easier part of
Big truck truckin'. Hopefully not by sleepin' while the trainee is up thar alone.
Then again, ........ perhaps that's preferable.
I hear that, I do.
As for those expectin' instant numbers, get a grip.
We know he drives for England, right?
He mentioned he didn't have that information at his disposal at this time, right?
Maybe that information is at the house.
How often are England drivers rumored to get home time?
See where I'm goin' with this?
Don't shoot the messenger
and ignore the message.
He ain't the enemy.
Ahhhhhhh!
You learn quickly.
