Usually what I do. If the windshield starts to fog a bit, will switch to “Defrost” mode, but don’t change the temp. Usually 70 degrees or less.Crude Truckin', lual, nextgentrucker and 1 other person Thank this.

I have found that the best way to keep ice from accumulating on my windshield in winter weather is to head home.
austinmike, nikmirbre, 201 and 3 others Thank this. -
Not many people like driving through snow storms. You don't have to like it to do it well or safely. It's mostly just a matter of going slower than the crowd so that you have enough following distance to coast to a stop if someone in front of you screws up. Even on my last delivery I was anxious I would get lost or get stuck with a truck in a place not good for a truck. You do what you need to do.
austinmike, hope not dumb twucker, nextgentrucker and 2 others Thank this. -
make sure you don't have a bunch of crap on the dash covering the defrost vents.
I see that all the time and they think just having a warm cab works.

That’s what I was gonna say. No heat at all on the windshield. Heat on the floor and crack the passenger window. The air will circulate and keep windows from fogging over.Crude Truckin', tscottme, Speedy356 and 7 others Thank this.
