World-of-Wally has it. Most otter parts stores. Can’t remember if I have ever seen it at a TS.

Usually buying multiple case quantities to keep 10 trucks supplied.

Usually what I do. If the windshield starts to fog a bit, will switch to “Defrost” mode, but don’t change the temp. Usually 70 degrees or less.

I have found that the best way to keep ice from accumulating on my windshield in winter weather is to head home.

Not many people like driving through snow storms. You don't have to like it to do it well or safely. It's mostly just a matter of going slower than the crowd so that you have enough following distance to coast to a stop if someone in front of you screws up. Even on my last delivery I was anxious I would get lost or get stuck with a truck in a place not good for a truck. You do what you need to do.

make sure you don't have a bunch of crap on the dash covering the defrost vents.

I see that all the time and they think just having a warm cab works.

Except in Freightliners you can't turn on A/C with vent opened to defrost...manufacturer error.

Take this seriously - if this is going on, and you never drove in a snowstorm, do us a favor and get the hell off the road.

86scotty, austinmike and 201 Thank this.

That’s what I was gonna say. No heat at all on the windshield. Heat on the floor and crack the passenger window. The air will circulate and keep windows from fogging over.

Do you have winter rated drives on your truck?
They will help a lot driving in snow.Lock in your power divider.
