I will on the cali gig for the foreseeable future. Although bringing my truck back before Christmas while they shut down for winter maintenance and recertification til mid February.

I haven't posted any photos for awhile. Most all of you have seen this done, but for those that haven't, this is how we remove the counterweight on our 345 to get it legal to haul and under the capacity of the trailer. We have a 7 axle outfit.
For those that rely on Ritchie Specs, I think if you look up 345D L (long track), it probably tells you about 100k lbs. This machine is a VG, or variable track gauge, and it sits higher and is heavier than most 345s.
The fully dressed hoe is near 120k, the counterweight is 19k, and the bucket is 6k. Our annual permit allows us to leave the bucket on for the top tier two roads (black and purple), but after that we have to take the bucket off and get single trip permits with review.
