I would shy from anything that was a PEEC and converted unless they would tell you exactly what they used in conversion.

as far as bumping one it depends on serial number. For instance the 4CK prefixes in 460 and 350 hp had the same pistons, nozzles etc. the only difference was turbo abd fuel. But the 425hp 4CK shared no common parts with those two.

A 3ZJ you really want a 425. Same as 8PN. I generally shy folks away from an 8PN cause they are different. But you find one you really like run it by and give me 1/2 a day with it and I’ll change its attitude. They had the strongest block as well. I’ll be honest I kinda like the C better than a B. They burn a little cleaner and pull a little better they just kinda seem to respond a little slower. Put a 15 over behind them with some 3:55 or 3:70’s and you can run the big road or the skinny ones. I certainly don’t mind answering any questions you have if you find something of interest. I may not always have an answer but dumb looks are usually free.

The CAT Jake’s are useless almost as well. Or may seem it coming from a 12.7.

@Big Road Skateboard if you happen upon an old Cabover with a silver 92 Detroit let me know. I’ve never had a two stroker, but I kinda think I need to ride one, just to say I have. And yes, I want a Cabover. I don’t plan on getting rid of my everyday ride, more just want a play toy

Pretty much Minnesota and North dakota all winter for the last 7 winters, only time I have been out of those 2 was when I was on actual vacation, it's not the driving that sucks IMHO it's getting out and working in it, I grew up in the area, cut my teeth on driving everything imaginable in this are in the winter, but as I age getting out and working in it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. IMHO if you can't stomach driving in bad conditions you shouldn't be driving
