I totally understand that feeling! I miss my old 3406B. 600+/- mechanical horses, it was in a total different league in comparison to the 475 nanny hp this Cummapart has… like the rest of the truck much better, but struggling a bit with the motor

 

I get the same feeling between our B models and our 6NZ. Maybe it's the drive by wire - the 6NZ is torquey and snappy as hell at the get go, but when you squeeze the pedal gradually more an more it just falls flat. It's stock 475, but it feels like the 425 B models just keep giving a little more as you gently give her more fuel. It's hard to compare a 10 wheel dump truck to a loaded lowboy though.

That 567 I was in had a 505 and a auto shift. Talk about a gutless slug. I was ready to surrender my man card after a few days in that thing.

 

Got some of these double bubbles that Calli’s Customs is selling. Two diodes in them to look like the old ones with two bulbs.

Any of you guys run 58 from 77 over to 87 lately ? Loading soy meal in Bellevue, OH on Saturday going to Eden, NC was thinking of cutting across 58. Use to be length restrictions on 58, I don't pay much attention to them anyway. Seriously doubt they'd bother a hopper bottom. Thought I heard 58 was getting rebuilt and widened out ?

Could run 64 over to 81 then down 220 etc
