You know how when things like this go to trial, some lawyer can convince the jury that ol Chester didn’t mean any harm and wasn’t targeted the girl. So I gave him the benefit of a doubt.
“Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, my client, Chester D. Molester wasn’t targeting the girl, he was scrolling on his phone and trying to get inside the building.”
She is waiting, hand on the door knob waiting to get buzzed in. Chester circled right, and changed his course when she pivoted left.
Had a situation a couple years ago where I got stuck at that TA Montgomery. I wanted a beer and so I walked east toward the gas station. Between the TA and gas station, there’s the 304 Inn. Dude came out of the motel heading towards me, but he’s looking at everything but me. Wasn’t 100% sure he was targeting me, but if I kept my current pace, he would reach the highway directly behind me. I slowed my pace to see if he would change course. He changes course. I am now 100%. Forearm in right hand, blade in left and I stop walking. He is still looking all around but changes course again to intercept. 1000% sure. He gets 20 ft away and realizes that I am waiting. We have nothing to talk about. He turns 45degrees and runs towards the Arby’s on the other side of the highway. On the other side, he turns to look at me. I am still in the same place watching.
Anyways gents, if ever you feel uneasy, watch the feet. How they walk, how they position themselves, whether they’re square up or take a defensive stance…etc. The little girl realizes that Chester is worried about her screaming. He has to get directly behind her to throttle her. She pivoted, door is unlocked, he thought for sure she’d turn and go in first. Smart freaking kid! Kudos to her for having courage and kudos to whoever trained her. It’s a shame that kids have to worry about effin pedos, but it is what it is.
Eyes open. Stay safe out there gents.
Six back quiet.
