That’s correct CT, the heavier of the two types (lumber) is about 80lbs+ when new. It’s what the TMC strength test is using. The whole enchilada is lifting it (properly) from the ground to the trailer deck, then catapulting yourself unassisted to the deck to follow the tarp you just heaved, then lifting the tarp again to the height of a standard size pallet, which is on the deck. You don’t have to flex or take a bow when complete, but it may be encouraged or at least cheered by onlookers.
Side note; aged tarps tend to get heavier with patches and when they’re wet or frozen hoooboy. Mercifully, one tends to get thrown in the trailer’s side box.
Thinking of trying out flatbed

So far I have been contacted by Melton. Told would be 8 days of orientation including training. Won't need to go out with a trainer because of 5+ years of trucking experience. They pay extra for hazmat and Canada loads. Will be if I remember what I was told right. Tarping atleast 2 loads a week.

I think they would be a fairly good company. They have nice equipment at least.
