    2 people I know had to have their trans replaced in the last year. One Paccar and one I Shift Volvo.

    I can't remember which, but one was 24k$ and one 27k$. I think those were after labor too.

    I bought my 18 from Eaton for under 6k$.

    Man I hope it’s only the clutch and the transmission doesn’t go out after the warranty expires. The transmission warranty expires quicker than the engine!

    Right, but I’d be asking what failed at that low of mileage. They should be able to tell you why it needs replaced.

    I can get a whole reman'd 13 speed transmission,clutch and flywheel for that. I can't believe anyone is buying these new trucks.
