The six-figure club.

Final tally $121,900 down about $10,000 from last year. I missed a whole month of paychecks this year though or it would've been about the same. I feel fortunate in that we always have the ability to work extra (a 6th day) if we want to for a little over 6 months out of every year and I do take advantage of that.

 

With the job I was working at the start of the year, I grossed $19,298.10 as of my second to last paycheck. They locked me out before I could download my final check stub, but based on the net amount deposited to my account, it should be around $4,000 gross for my last week of work plus my PTO payout.

The last paycheck of the year with my current job shows a gross of $87,875.46.

Add it all together and that puts me just over $111,000 for the year.

 

I'm honestly looking at doing the same. I'm also considering buying another house and extra board will help me run it back up

 

I litterly just walked in the house after taking an extra run today.

 

OK I get it. Everybody’s taking five weeks to a month off to take care of. Mom gets most of the holidays off only runs five days a week OTR and y’all still making 120,000 a year. Got it. Duly noted. This is like when you talk to your old buddy and he tells you his fishing tales, I’ll just leave it at that

You’re running fuel? Look, I’m not Being weird about it I think every OTR driver out there that works full-time should make at least 100 grand a year. I’ve been saying that for about five years. I just don’t think you should have to literally be a slave to achieve it. That’s the way it seems to me. But seriously, good for you! Make as much as you can.

 

I think maybe you’re confused or don’t realize that these are LTL drivers and not OTR mega seat fillers.

 

I mean, out of the regular group of folks that participate in this forum, there aren’t any real indicators that this is a board full of bovine excrementers.
