Taco Casa

Taco casa has the best bean burritos and tostadas for fast food in my opinion... However Rosas Cafe took over as the best quasi sit down restaurant/ fast food joint...Taco Tuesday at Rosas is the best deal.. homemade tortillas..good food overall at a reasonable price.. the best Mexican food though is Joe T. Garcias in downtown Fort Worth...best authentic Mexican food for the past 90 years or so... Fajitas are world famous.. definitely worth a visit..

 

Taco Casa makes me dookie loudly.

 

I'd like to know why Rosas Cafe doesn't offer complimentary nacho chips like literally every other Mexican restaurant in this country does.

Oh man, now I have to rethink about how I review reality.

 

You gotta ask for it.. chips and salsa on the side, just like you would get if you parked and ate inside.. at least that's how it works at the Rosa's here in Weatherford, tx.. good point though as they don't give it to you freely if you use the drive thru..

 

Not to overstate the obvious, but the very best Mexican food will never be found at a chain. It's usually at some little hole in the wall that doesn't advertise because they don't have to.

As far as the chains go, Taco Casa and Taco Villa are about on par with one another, and both are darn sight better than Taco Bell. A decade ago Taco Cabana was better than Rosa's, but now it's the other way around - TC's quality has really gone downhill. But nobody makes better fast food breakfast tacos than Bill Miller's.
