I've gotten in fights because some guy was punching some chick out.

I still do stupid stuff like that and at 72 that ain't too smart.

Consider the marine whos life was destroyed for trying to defend that woman on a subway here recently. Many americans have been trained that any sort of resistance means bad things happen to YOU.

Dont mistake this as my defending this guys actions, and to be as clear as posible. I am not rather i find them to be both disgusting and cowardly in the extreme. Especially as by context this was likely a family member or wife. which i cant speak for others would have had me fighting to my last breath to defend them. And the man to be an absolute failure as a person

That said its also hard not to draw conclusions between the fact people being punished for helping others and told to just run and get help or just hide rather then fight for as many years as they have been. leading to more instances like this with folks cowering in fear rather then jumping in to defend others either.

 

That's the worst thing. You step up and do the right thing and there's a good chance you've just ####ed your life up for a long time, that's assuming the scumbag doesn't take you out. We need laws to protect people from being charged or sued if they step up to help or protect someone in need.

Dischatgrd a ABC fire extinguisher in a guys face in Los Angeles once, certainly stopped him in his tracks. LAPD did mot have a problem with it. In was at the Big Sears store off Soto.

 

They say chivalry is dead... I'm still chivalrous somewhat...but if there's some Boss Babe marching around then I just assume she can take care of herself..congratulations on becoming the man you wanted to marry...however...he's a bit of a sourpuss in my view...
