Tbh I’d take an old square body over most of today’s models. Except…. If I could get a sweet deal on a Ram 2500 or something like @kylefitzy just got? I’d take them.
    Good looking ride.

if you don't like my opinion...you could also always just ignore me and move on, as a lot of people chose. It's not hard to do :D

everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and I never said mine was actually better. I know full well that modern trucks can run circles around mine just by performance alone. Trying to compare an old chevy 350 to a modern Duramax or any other modern diesel engine is like trying to compare a hamster to Godzilla

Well loads one and two are staged under the crane for an AM unload in Nevada. 3-5 are one the road. Heading back to load 6 and 7 of 188 total loads on Friday. Not sure how long we will be involved but so far they are not to bad.

I parked a couple spots down from one of the new red white and blue SPDs yesterday...those just don't look right. W-TFI has made all their various company's equipment look like the generic packaging grocery stores had back in the 70's.

SPD is based out of Eagon, MN now? This is their address on the w2, or is this just because W-TFI operates the SFI (former Daseke companies) out of MN

it looks like TFI is using transport America’s old corporate headquarters building as their US office that’s most likely the reason for that address

Interesting. All but about 50 specialized trucks are transitioning to EW Wylie. Only the wing crew, cowling crew, teams, and a few others will remain as SPD trucks. Not sure how that will shake out for most of the people in the office.

Hmmmmm, I think I remember someone saying that would happen when they first announced that SPD was "partnering" with Wylie...I wonder who that was....oh yeah, it was me....:biggrin_2551:....and a lot of people said I was over reacting and being negative....if Wylie holds true to form, the office better start dusting off their resumes. The general fleet will be dispatched from Fargo before the end of the fiscal year.

The “general fleet” will be ew Wylie trucks and employees in the next few weeks. So yeah they will be Fargo dispatched trucks before you know it. What all that entails, I’m not sure. That doesn’t involve me or my dispatcher.

Funny (or not funny) my check stubs have an address in Arlington WA. And since the change to ADP, payroll is a constant issue.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
