now this post is for anyone that has truck fever , just got to have your own truck and you really don't care how you get it you got the fever and you want your own truck period, and that in itself is not a bad thing i no the feeling well been there done that BUT i have also been burned and a couple of times pretty bad and all because i tried to buy a truck with my emotions, it does not work it in fact leaves you wide open for disaster.

now am i saying that buying a truck is a bad thing ? no i am not I'm the last one that will tell you that what i am saying is watch how you do it , there are more thieves and liars in this business then any other and there all willing to take your money and break your heart.

now if you have a friend or even a broker that you can trust and he wants to sell you a truck thats a good thing as long s you have control of the truck and it's worth buying , check it over carefully before you sign on the dotted line.

now if you buy a truck can you make money with it ? of course you can anybody that says there not making money is sim[ply doing it wrong , there is more ways to truck then just one. for example i no all of you have seen these show trucks , you know the big large car with all the chrome and all the bells and whistles, well that truck is not cheap and all the bells and whistles are not cheap either it takes a lot of money to dress up a truck like that, when is the last time you've seen one in a repo lot not many if any, you can make money and a lot of it .

now you find yourself wanting a truck of your own but you don't have the money or the credit, well, i wish i could tell you of an easy way to overcome that but i can not , I'm in that position my self and as most of you know I've been trying to expand my company for a while now using every resource i can find with no results period the banks have got the credit market locked up tight there make the problem that they created worse, how do they stay in business simple they are now doing there banking over sea's leaving us holding the short end of the stick, what can we do about it ? not a thing but remember this hard times like this brings out even more thieves and more scams , just don't fall for them and the best place to find them is the INTERNET.

now the biggest scam going on the net is bad credit loans.not going to happen o they will try to convince you they can with all ind of promises but when it gets down to it they want you to pay them money up from for there one time fee or insurance on the loan , don't do it NO REPUTABLE COMPANY WILL EVER AS YOU FOR MONEY UP FRONT FOR ANYTHING thats just not the way of business, next thing is they will tell you to just fax them a copy of your check so they can verify that you have an account , DON'T DO IT if you notice at the bottom of your check there is a banking number and a routing number and thats all they need to withdraw funds from you account it's called an electronic transfer and if they have those numbers the bank will not question it they will just transfer the funds no problem, people do desperate things in desperate times and that is what these guys count on'
for an example i just got a call a couple of days ago from a friends wife he fell for that and it cost him 10.000 bucks and nothing can be done about it the bank says well he had those numbers, nothing could be done , i had to rush over and take his gun away from him he was going to shoot the guy that would have helped a lot the name of the company that got him was global funding now this guy has about ten company's all with global in the name. can you afford to lose that much? he couldn't afford it either it almost destroyed him' just don't do it better to wait awhile then lose everything.

i hope this has helped a few of you, if you just wait it will happen, you never lose till you quit, aint nothing but a step for a stepper.

I started out with a high miler that was in pretty decent condition. I figured I'd run it and save money and upgrade when the right replacement came along. My first truck was well under $10,000. I was lucky to pay cash for it.

I traded the truck a couple weeks ago. It was time. It had 1,016,000 miles on it and was still in decent shape. It wasn't a maintenance headache or anything like that, but I knew I was "tempting the gods" with that many miles. An overhaul was surely on the horizon and would have cost more than the truck is worth. I took that money and applied it to my new (to me) truck.

My situation I know is uncommon, and if I had to get a loan for a truck, I'd search the internet first. I don't have to have a flashy new truck. With that comes high payments and stress.

Go to the thread list of the forum you want to post in and click the "New Topic" button. It's either "New Topic" or "New Thread" (you know what I mean)

or I will just ask my question. I've been reading on here about new drivers and advice from old drivers. The main thing I see is everyone went to driving school. Are there drivers on here who did as I did and got there CDL without school or grants and learned to drive from a friend or family member? I earned my experience thru, well...........experience. No school or training, just good people showing me whats right and wrong and so on. I would really like a reply and sorry to have to ask here, I don't know how to start my on thread. Thanks a lot
