    Your correct John. Billy is my dispatcher. I'm home now, heading to Savage, Md on Monday morning for an 8 am delivery. I say this past week I put about 1500-2000 miles on, just estimating, so hopefully this next check will be a decent one.

    Rhino, I'm on the local myself and I'm runnin from Va up to ME. I was runnin between PA and the northeast most of the week. I want to say I averaged between 1500-2000 miles this past week, the week before only working for 3 days I had 225 miles.

    Andy, I couldn't agree with you more. Its nice when you walk into the dispatch office and they know your face, and they know your voice. Yesterday even with Billy being gone for the day, the other dispatchers called me to make sure I had a load heading back. Overall, a very great company to work for.

    ya i like that part to, knowing that your dispatcher or their sub calls you to make sure your doing okay. that will never happen with those driver mills. im gonna be out longer this week so im hoping to get about 5 to 7 loads in instead of the normal 4 to 5. then im going to try to get a cali run. (fingers crossed) time to start making good miles & money before going on vacation at the end of june. so far everything is going good. the equipment is in good shape & they keep you running.

    I have read the entire thread and appreciate the info presented so far. I have a few questions which have not been asked thus far;

    1. Does Calex allow the drivers to install a microwave in the truck?

    2. Does Calex allow pets in the truck?

    3. What is the pay scale for a Team operation?

    4. What is the vacation pay based on? Some carriers offer 1/52nd of previous years earnings while others it is a set amount.

    5. You mentioned a new insurance plan. Who is it thru and what are the 3 premium levels offered.

    6. Does the company have a retirement plan such as a 401k with a match?

    TIA for answering my questions.

    I took that pic today in my driveway after I cleaned the truck all up. The trailer is at the end of the road, I can't turn it around at my place (dead end roads.)

    Calex has a pet policy, I think its a pet under 25 pounds, and a $350 deposit (correct me if I'm wrong.) And as far as installing items, I think that if you buy it, they install it so its done correctly.

    yes you can have a microwave, provided you have the 780. the truck is wired with outlets already, just need the inverter. which they ask that they install that for you (free by the way). dmp---> truck is looking good! mine has been seeing too much off road deliveries to even stay clean (especially after the bad rains i saw in western pa). I would love it though if it looked like that. Think i might check into have blue beacon washing it for me. besides that, im too busy with my girls to bother cleaning the truck on my off time. well, getting late, have a great weekend. i gotta head out early monday morning to deliver in jersey at 7am (not looking forward to that early morning delivery, but gotta do what you gotta do).
