Schneider, solo trucks are governed to right about 60. I drive many different trucks, and some do 62 on cruise. Now on the pedal, you usually get 2-3 more mph for going around someone even slower. The team trucks are usually set at 65, with no extra on the pedal, as far as I know. Maybe a team driver will comment.
Baack Thanks this. -

Depending on the truck, either 62, up to 65 with fuel incentive (must use the cruise to get that), or 65/68 if they haven't turned it down. Luck of the draw, some are turned down, others aren't.
Lease drivers get more, like 70+, but I don't know really how much.
Team trucks get the same as above. -
My avatar pic says it all. we are governed at 65.

Heartland is governed at 64, but the trucks have the "drivers reward" program.
So if you idle your top speed goes down.
25-29%= 63
30-34%=62
35-39%= 61
40+%= 60
The Prostars all have that program, the 9400s do not and go 64.
Central Refregerated go 62 with company trucks. Slowed them down while I worked there a few years ago. -
Used to run for Swift. They were 64 when I left, but company got turned down to 62. Lease guys 67.
Prime: Company I think 61, lease 65 on new trucks. Mine's set at 72. -

Con-way Freight.. 62 or so they say.. Most trucks I've had my GPS in run 61 and mine only showed 60 with the occasional flash to 61.

P.A.M. is 65, not sure about O/O though.

Ive heard (dont know if its fact) that once a truck is turned down and the driver quits or is let go (because they still cant make 6.75mpg) that Prime leaves the truck at 58mph for the next driver and wont turn it back up.
