Smart thing to do!!!!
I drove for them before I can testify to what your saying about it!!!! -
Every trucking company I have ever known ( many) has used this "ploy" to weed out drivers that will cost them money. Even though you told them you were on medication ( you never said what kind) it proved to be a "weak" spot. They are not going to invest ( pay your loan ) in you or any other driver that doesn't make the cut. As soon as they moved you out of that truck it should have sent up red flags but you would not have realized it because you are new to the profession. You haven't said what you are going to do from here but if you are going to continue in the trucking industry PLEASE heed this advice : NEVER, EVER, EVER do a lease purchase program with ANY company !!! EVER !!! If owning a truck is very important to you find yourself a decent job, bank some money, and take out a standard (bank, credit union ) loan. You will never get ahead while you are indebted to your employer. The interstates are paved with disaster stories of people that thought they could make a go with it like that. Please listen to this advice, forget the lease, look for another training company *(swift, schneider,MS carriers) etal.
When you are a new driver at any company they will give you the dregs ( ie: equipment, loads, routes, miles). It is a test or your determination and drive. Take advice from those ( myself also) that have been down that road. Take what they give you, think for yourself, handle as many situations by yourself as you can. DON'T WHINE or COMPLAIN about anything. Suck it up until you have earned the respect of the dispatchers and it will pay off 100% over the course of time. Good luck
