Suppport Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products.

i was in kentucky and wanted to go back home to toronto and the TND 500 said to go to the fort erie border instead of the going up the i75 to the detroit windsor border which is much closer. Why did it do that?

 

I have them all set to allow everything and had it set to fastest route as you said to.
As a new trucker I almost ended up following the first route it gave me, thankfully i asked another trucker and he told me to go to to ambassador bridge.

Ok Ive had a 500 from almost day 1 and just bough the 700. Updated the 700 out of the box using my computer all is well. Come home this morning not thinking I plug my 500 into the computer and press update. All was well on the computer end, said completed etc. I tried booting up the 500 and I get an error now.

Says Fatal Application Error Cannot start the main navigation engine! Please try again. I tried again with no luck. HELP!



Can I not update the 500 and 700 on the same computer? I only have one laptop.

Reset did not work. Same thing wont start up.
