Mine have been good. Have you talked to your fleet manager about it?
-
do you run flatbed or van?
-
When I was with the company, I started out with a ton of miles. Then it dwindled. Then it picked up again. Then it was kinda ok.

i do van, and yes i have spoken to my fleet manager about it...its now every time i do a load i sit for a day and a half
this week only had 1000 miles. im in utah right now since yestreday and was told that i might not get a load till sunday. they are waiting for this one load to be ready. was also told if it cancels they dont know when they will have another one for me. . . i can understand sitting for a day or so once a week but...grr. not going to say anymore..only thing i can think of is im getting close to end of my contract?idk,..

This is par for the course. Utah was always a tough place to get out of.

I have had good miles for the last several weeks, (2,200/2,400 out 11 home 3). I had my down miles in Jan. and Feb. when I had several 1,500 mile weeks. I am usually about out of hours when I reach Salt Lake and don't mind taking a reset there, havent been past the Missouri River in about 5 months, could be freight out that way in a little scarce. The last time i was out there I sat for three days, including my reset, and ended up pulling back a reefer (i'm van). Good luck getting rolling again. -
yes good week bad week. 1700 the other week then 3200 the next then sit wait relay-relay hot loads low mi.had 4hr left on 70 be dammed they gave me a 71 mi load then had no place to park drove 20 mi. to a rest area. ill prob hear about it

smiley dont worry, it depends on where you delivered, if its off the normal freight route it takes longer to come back in... tell em you want east of the rockies for awhile... so you dont get lost in the mix... miles will jump back up... also try less time out then a day at home... they will keep you busier when they know you have to get home...
fancypants Thanks this. -
Im gonna try that also i stay out 3-4 wks an most weekends i get short mi. an sit anyway. i run reefer.Cant figure it out yet. ill get 700 an day ,half. then 850 an near 3 days. gotta find a happy medium
