I stopped at Wal Mart with my wife and reached up and yanked the Cigarette Lighter out and forgot to set the e-brake. She laughed her A&& off at me.

swinging out wide in a car or pickup is very dangerous escpecially without a long trailer because a car can sneak up on the side of you and collide with you when you want to get back in the right lane after turning out wide.....A tractor trailer or pickup with a 40 ft gooseneck is different because when you make a right and turn out wide the trailer is still going to be in that lane where you turned out wide out of.The trailer will be blocking any vehicles that might want to try to sneak up on the side of you and when you get in the right lane after swinging out wide the trailer will still be around the lane you were coming from so your safe.I know you guys already know this but you all need to snap out of it....I myself had problems with this stuff and i still do :biggrin_25523: I just ripped all the rear view mirrors out of all the vehicles I own....It makes me realize when i get back in the truck I wont be looking up for a rear view mirror even though there is a sleeper behind.haha:biggrin_25523:

I find myself driving my 4 wheeler slower than normal, and I was taking a trip with my brother-in-law last week and he said Man you take the corners wide.....I had to laugh.

I also find myself reaching for the parking brake knob and my wife laughs every single time I do it...also

LOL... I don't swing that wide. I stay in the right lane, I just square my turn nice and wide. You won't see me clipping a curb like a lot of 4 wheelers do.

I used to specialize on oversize or rather over height loads. Often after dropping a high load I would find my self snaking all over the road to miss the overhead traffic lights tree branches etc.

better to think you have a trailer, and not, than have a trailer and forget it's there
