my friend works for lange bts. he hauls mail from boise to sacramento and sparks. home every other night. and motel paid by lange every other night. he said sometimes he has to roll the mail carts in or out but its easy.
did not ask what pay is but it gotta be better than some 20 or 28 cpm scam -
Is Lange tough to get onto in the NW? I cringed when I heard the payscale for Motor West and that's for experience?
-
i dont know i just haul chips. he said they have a good back ground check and he had no complaints or desire to quit
another friend of mine hauled mail team driving from seattle to pittsburgh and claimed 27$ an hour for driving time -
Any company paying a per diem by the mile is cheating the driver. Call your IRS AGENT! They told me it is $59 a day and if a company is paying you a mileage per diem it is spose to be on your W2 when you get it at the end of the year with total they paid you, and the balance you claim off your income tax. At eight cents a mile you will not receive $59 a day.
-
The $59 a day is for everyday you are out over night.... If you go out on a half day over night you get half.
