The only two truckstops I've ever eaten at in Canada were the Marcel Truck Stop Gaz Bar‎ in St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec, and the Fifth Wheel in Bowmanville, Ontario - so I can't be much help.

However, if you'd send me a package of Fudgie-O's, I'll be your newest and bestest friend! :D

Maybe you should read the whole post, it's across Canada only.

And to the OP, your not gonna find a whole lot of good food truckstops, canada's got it worse than the US. Unless you consider the Husky good, blech.

Atleast the "blech" from Husky isnt $20 like the "blech" from Fifth wheel. Come on, i got a pop and toast for $5 from fifth wheel. Omelettes run $20 if you pay in american...

And then theres that very strange tasting pizza at the Flying J's in Quebec. They use this HUGE pepperoni with no flavor at all. Blech. I guess the french arent very good at cooking Italian..

And i love the places that charge extra for american. the money is worth more no matter what the exchange rate.

The Border Town truckstop in Fort Erie is pretty good..5km from Buffalo, NY....

When im over there i try to get chinese delivery in Buffalo if im going into canada..hah.

old topic, and its probably said.. but clean restrooms(bathrooms as well), and heated/ac...
    oh and fuel..

One day out of all days, I remember doing and VIC to quessland for the first time, took a wrong turn, so it added an extra 100km to my run (no biggy), but I had planned to fill up at the next stop; kept going, kept going, found a fuel station, tried the pump.. no luck.. :(; walked in and informed him about the pump, he replied that they had no more diesel left, and was waiting for another load in 5 hours(the truck broke down some time ago, and they had a heavy haul convoy with 8 trucks in total)

so i was left with no fuel, no reception, and no sunlight for another 7hours.. sure enough the guy came out, and asked if it was an emergency, as the next station was 80km down the road... after a bit of talking, he gave me the last of the fuel he had in his truck(ute), and that was enough to get me to the next stop.. oh and yes I did pay the guy for the fuel, and a bit extra, also gave him a hand moving his ute to the pump so he could re-fuel himself.

What you have described is a truckers' DREAM.
Can all (or ANY) of it be done?
    Most likely, not.

A DENTIST!! For heaven's sake... There should be dentists in many truck stops - at least on major hwys - all over the country. Stationary and or mobile dentist offices. I think that would be good business for them and a great help for drivers. We could take care of our teeth while on the road without disrupting our schedules.
