Me and my Wife just recently got laid off at work. My Dad use to drive piggyback trucks for 7 years. He tells me that this would be a good thing for me,but unfortunately I do not have the experience as he does, Can you tell me of a company in Dallas/Fort Worth that offers on the job training.

Hello and Welcome to the Site

You can check in our sub forum for trucking schools, for potential companies that would train:

If you are unemployed, under employed, displaced worker, you could qualify for the WIA program through the Employment Security Commission (ESC). This is free funding for training.
Best of Luck!!!!Baack Thanks this. -

Welcome Drews. You can do this two ways; Trucking school then company orientation or Company sponsored training then company orientation. You would have to stay there for year or year and a half. If your wife chooses to get her CDL with you, then please go company sponsored training and team up. You make one paycheck and live together. Companies that do this are:
Swift:
