Oh yeah just FYI......License suspensions are not permanent...Ive already spoke to a DPS employee and they said if you have any license suspensions etc they go automatically to your MVR....Also that they become purged(removed) from your MVR after so long.....Like Breathalyzer refusal stays in a police record for only the leo's to get.Employers cannot get that information.....The problem what this young lad is he had a mip conviction but thats over 3 years old and thats been purged because he is over 21.

By the Way this is not bloody england this is the Lone Star State, USA :biggrin_25514:

Oh yeah forgot to mention, he got lucky because his MVR is clean so it looks like they have been purged a long time ago or somebody forgot to add them :biggrin_2559:

I know suspensions and such are not permanent.

It is the wording on the CDL application that asks the question HAVE YOU EVER.......

Sorry making this thread so long but in texas license suspensions can only be seen from a LEO not an employer because Ive had mine suspended like i said and it never showed up on my MVR.....neither has his for the MIP.So that goes to prove you are wrong and my statements are true and they are facts! Have a nice day! :)

That is true. But when you fill out a CDL application for ANY state, the FMCSA rules require it to contain the question that I noted.

It is where you get caught if you have a suspension in your past.

Besides, Insurance companies have a way of finding out as well. When I hired drivers at the company, they were not hired officially until the insurance company ran records on them and gave an okay.

Was it something when you were a juvenile?

Your age is not disclosed for reference on the 5 year period.

Also, how did you get it sealed?

Might be relevant to the disclosing of the felony.
