I don't think Prime removed them. Methinks they were intended as single-seat crotch rockets... think old-school Sportster... or not.:biggrin_25522:

The lightweight tractors were ordered that way - no passenger seat, one bunk - because they were intended for solo operators. Just extra unused weight... like the brain of a flatbedder!

30-cpm at 60,000 miles (if you don't stay on your trainers truck) up to 80,000 miles.

At 80,000 miles you get a bump to 33-cpm. I believe, thereafter its an addtional 0.5-cpm bump every 125,000 miles. You get a week's paid vaction at these points as well. There's a fuel bonus as well that is variable depending on how well you do - minimum is 6.75 mpg.

Well; unlike your co most co's think about driver comfort. Some drivers from time to time don't want to sit on the bunk or driver seat. I have posted many a time from the jump seat. Some drivers do take riders on trips.

You talk about the extra weight is saves. What ever prime tells you, you defend them tooth and nail. Maverick hauls 50000 lbs coils and they aren't gutting their trucks. They think about the driver and what will make him comfortable. Problem with you is prime was your first baby step and you have nothing to compare with. You only have what prime tells you is standard for the trucking industry. I have heard you defend them on several issues that is not standard for trucking co's. They have told you it was and you go off spouting what they have told you. Like buying load locks and then saying it teaches you responsibility if you have to buy it. That's a crock. It is the co's responsibility to supply that stuff.

Heck; I lost my keys to my headache rack once. That is 3 locks. Those are not cheap padlocks. Probably 20-30 bucks per lock. I was fully expecting to have to pay for them. Mav asked me what happened and I told them. They gave me another set. Did not bill me. Difference between prime and maverick is like night and day. You are always spouting off whatever it is that they tell you. Even your side kick U2 has told you to mellow out. He has the same FM as you, but he is not firing up the pom poms every time someone talks about prime.

You talk about how good everything is. Heck the staring pay at mav for a brand new CDL was 52.5 a year with most weekends home and not having to buy stuff the co ought to furnish. Nor having to stay out a month at a time. If prime was to say we are going to cut drivers pay by 50% you would be telling how much of a favor they are doing you by teaching you how to budget on less...:biggrin_2556:

The reason everyone cracks on you and me esp is every time prime is mentioned you are up and offended and taking offense like someone spoke ill of your mother. Would not surprise me at all if you don't have prime mentioned on your headstone.

I speak highly of maverick, because they are a good co. I am not on the payroll or having anything to gain. I have always helped new drivers find good fits and many times sent them off to other co's. I don't make a dime off helping people or promoting maverick. I just know the difference from a jacked up co and a good one.

You on the other hand only sing how great prime is because that is all you have been told or seen. Look at all the info you post on primes lease. All co told info. Even U2 has said you should only speak of what you know. You sound like the poster child or puppet for prime.
