1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I've been here before, and when I left, I honestly thought I had found a good job. Don't ask who it was for, but I worked for them for just 6 days before I wanted to do unspeakable things to them. It was bad. But that's done now and I'm looking for one of a couple of things.
Either an O/O who is looking for a good driver with a strong work ethic and who will treat their rig with respect or a good co-driver.
I'm hoping that I can find a good co-driver who is easy going, smoker, able to focus, and be a good companion as well. I'd prefer to have a male co-driver. I do have a valid offer from a company I'd worked for before. If you email me, I will provide all the info needed. I will not receive any compensation for bringing another driver in, just my normal paycheck. I'm open to discussing this further.
I've been out of driving since Oct. 2009 and need to get back in before the one year mark is here. I still don't have any tickets, accidents, points, or cargo claims. My email is sd_craddock@yahoo.com for further information.
This will be a good opportunity for the right co-driver OR O/O...
Thank you for your time reading this post.

And just an added little note, I *do* have a sense of humor. I appreciate honesty and sincerity as well. I'm still hoping and had a "nibble" but nothing heard back from the person yet.
I've been out since October, 2009 and been actively looking. I really don't want to give up on driving. And no need to worry, my husband isn't the jealous type. He's been very encouraging to me. He keeps telling me that I'll find the right co-driver soon. I sure hope so, cuz I'm getting antsier and antsier each day and really looking forward to getting back out on the road.

I don't mind a sense of humor and honesty. But the waiting is killing me...if someone really wants to co-drive with me, please contact me. I'm going nuts being out of work. The only thing I can say is that BCJ Trucking is about the only company I'm really comfortable working for...they're honest.

Hi jb12288, pleased to meet you. I'm Shannon Craddock. I've heard a lot of different things about Covenant...good and bad. I listen to each and then go from there. I've been driving for a total of 3 years and I'm 45...but then again you might have seen my profile. To be honest, I haven't looked at my own profile in quite a while and have forgotten what I put on it. But anyways, why would you want to leave a company that's been good to you if a co-driver is all that's wrong? Have you suggested going solo to them? I don't have anything against a young driver...and it would be a refreshing change from the "old men"<lol>. However, if you're engaged, I'm a little concerned about your fiancee's feelings about this. Is she the jealous type? I've found that jealousy tends to make things tense and it changes people...and it is a concern of mine. I wouldn't want you and her to be at odds simply because you and I were team mates. That isn't a good thing to deal with when one is handling a vehicle that weighs more than a car. Do you live in NC or going to relocate to NC soon? BCJ does require their drivers to live within the state. How long have you been driving? I appreciate your honesty, it speaks of a secure and responsible person. My email is sd_craddock@yahoo.com. Perhaps we could speak more if we both knew more.

I can't PM here yet so I'll be brief on the thread... 1 hour from Mt Airy, 12+ years exp. hazmat endorsement, no exp. Write me at my screen name at hot mail and I can fill in the rest. Not sure which way I'll go, but unemployment isn't making the trip :) Thanks

    NC_38Special Thanks this.
