1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Don'tcha guys ever get tired of seeing the same scenery over and over again? Sure, you're home every night or whatever, but I don't have anybody waitin' on me ("Thank God!!!") and I like my PAID TOURISM... by the way, one of my seven brothers has driven for Pepsi for nearly two decades, so I know all about the Teamster gigs, but that poor sod still has to deal with nothin' but city traffic day in and day out, benefits be ######. Okay, just my $.02, if you're a family man those jobs are much more attractive, that's all I can say... to each his own, yeah? "Adios!!!" :Transportation cost

As for waiting, NOT without being paid. I'm not going to keep making $300 a week like i am now and not be home. Milage pay is 100% unfair when the company has 100% control over how many miles you get. Atleast if i had a paper log it'd be a *little* different.

    Sounds like an evil company.

    32 cpm. No detention. BS.
Uh, thats all I see when im otr anyway. I mostly run the exact same corridors and the only new scenery is different girls every day. Paid tourism? Hardly. And I wouldn't do the job if the pay wasn't worth it...which its not right here, but i'm probably leaving the company next week.

I pretty much run wisconsin, illinois, michigan, indiana, ohio, penna, new yawk, ontario, and quebec. This week i atleast went to missouri and minnesota but i've been there before. The only new scenery i ever see is if they send me to a different neighborhood in NYC. Last time they sent me to a total ghetto over there, haha.

No one's waiting for me but i like being home more than...never. Stay gone 2 weeks, come home 2 days, no time for a #### thing. Sucks. I'm trying to get into a position where i work for myself, and whether its trucking or not...dont really care. Sick of working to make someone else rich, man.

I actually drive for werner under the ab account and love it (I am otr and based out of ft lcollins. co) so I couldn't tell u about the day cabs however the most you do to your load is tie down the cargo, you will rarly find yourself in a tight dock and the pay is nice and steady usually when approaching the con all u have to do is look for the beer trailers.
