KY=Kentucky. Use to be KY TN OH OK NJ and several others all with a bingo plate on the front with others. Before IFTA you had to register in every state you ran in. Now you have 1 reg and a IFTA sticker.

you're talking about the kyu number. if you are registered for 55,000 lbs. or higher then you have to have this number.it is for weight based mileage tax,it has nothing to do with ifta. you file a separate form every qtr. with your ky. mileage.simply another way to get more money from you.

How come I have never seen this before I drove into Minnesota?
At this point, at least I dont need to worry about that but man..another dam cost for yet something more ?!
