    Heres a local job opp i found from our Iowa workforce job site. Read over it and see if you guys think its something i should try and go for or leave and wait for something different.

    Truck Drivers or Owner Operators. All outbound loads are Refrigerated or frozen loads, no touch to driver. Short hauls, intermediate & long hauls, out & right back. Must have Class A CDL. Must have acceptable MVR. Will be paid 25% to start. Benefits including Health Insurance, clothing allowance, cellphone alllowance. No forced dispatch. EOE. Immediate openings.

    I think the no forced dispatch sounds too good to be true but I am still sorta new. You never gain if you don't take chances. I was skeptical of a company that would hire a newbie to haul gas and be home daily but I make a good living there.

    It means you haul the load you are told to haul. Good or bad.

    ok gotcha. So if im reading this right, i do not HAVE to be an O/O correct? Id assume they furnish their own trucks as well?

    THE outfit is v&m farms, they have decent equiptment and are a family owned outfit. if i lived closer to mason city i would think about it. they used to be in Greene iowa until the floods made them have to relocate.
