I started in '04 at .27 mile, kind of the norm, if the miles are there though you'll still see decent paychecks.
-
I was getting 27½ cpm back in 1991 and it was low then.
-
You are a new driver no its not the best of money but you will still get a decent paycheck like trashtrucker said if you get the miles. It a start and we all have to start somewhere.
-
What company?
-
With ay least one company I know of that goes up a couple of times during your first year... Still not a lot but better than .18cpm I made starting out back in the day...
-
If they are not charging for the school if you run 100k miles I do not think that is too bad a sacrifice.
Most of the training company's will boost you to .30 by the end of the first year, but will charge you 50 bucks a week or so for the school for a year. Then will call it even after a year.
If it is a full OTR company you should get 120k miles your first year. So you will not have to stay that low too long. -
quit hemming and hawing, grab that job............Now!
