your 600-700 a week figure is accurate, but what you have to keep in mind is, you will be getting cut 20 a week for a reserve account up to 240 i think, then 10 dollars a week also for your lock kit, then 20 something for school and then insurance, if you
take it...you can still get some pretty good checks if you have a DM that gets you miles, unfortunately its all about the DM

Well heck... I've been reading this thread since day one (not an Obama day one) and I'm still tryin to figure out if there's good info here. Right now I'd say any job is a good job.

Been dodging the black helicopters for a few days, now I'm gonna run the gauntlet of the black and white SUV's of our govt overlords thru OH and PA tonight.

DM... I bought y'all some steak dinners here at the petro in New Paris OH. All ya got to do is walk in and tell them who ya are.

Not to be a nay-sayer, just want to relate a possible "worse case" scenario, well, not worse case, but at least negative enough to help you weigh your options.

It in entirely possible, perhaps even probable that you could quit that job, come to Central and then for whatever reason not be hired.

At that point you will have left a bird in the hand ( your current job) and yet have no job AND owe Central about 3 GRAND for a piece of paper worth less than bargain basement, sandpaper-esque bum wad.

Or you could get hired, spend a month with a trainer and realize that you have made a terrible mistake, and once again owe Central 3 Grand.

Or get through training, like the job, but not get any miles. I had one week, where my reimbursement for working 16~20 hour days for 7 days came to a mighty, mighty, $113.00

I assume ( yeah, ### of you and me, I know) that things are less than peachy right now with your current situation, just wanted to mention these negative potentials because, as was stated before, right now ANY job is a "good" job.

If you already have one, it may not be worth jumping out of the frying pan into the unknown fire trying to find a way to not get burned..if that makes any sense. :)

EDIT: Sleep apnea. Central requires that you pay them to install the inverter. If you go to Fontana, you're golden as a guy there will sell ya one and install it for very reasonable rates. I had mine installed at Conley and I had to provide the Inverter and it took them about 2 days ( no pay to me, DM on my ###) and they acted like I had just raped their newborne baby for even asking them to be bothered with installing it.

Sitting at the Pilot near CDC....thinking about sleeping on top of the trailer tonight. This place is almost as scary as Orlando.

Bootlegger, I think I'm gonna need to call in an airstrike for this 10hr break. You got the number for that AWACS plane in the Atlanta area. Gonna need the works, A-10's, Apaches', cruise missles, etc.
