The payoff period is 120K miles I believe. They forgive half of the debt at 60K miles and then portions thereof monthly after that I think. Looks like they have raised the tuition cost from a few months ago as my total was around 2800. The initial money was for registration/administration/hotel fees. You have to pay roughly 375.00 for the hotel for the three week period that is part of that 560. They will reimburse you 0.13 per mile for traveling expenses to and from when you finish school.

I suppose the $2800 is the same, just 560 more for hotel. No pay for training though; just during EVO1 & 2. Their site has something about a $250 Orietation pay once completed, is that the same thing they gave you, only $50 less? You mentioned a $300 payment you could access in another post.
I am not in great shape, but not obese either. How hard is/was the Heart Rate Check? -
You can't go over your target heart rate. They calculate it by 220-your age times 90%. You have to do a step step test where you go up and down a 12" step for 1 minute at a certain rate. Then there is carrying 30 lbs and 60lbs, lifting 30 lbs over your head, pulling 100 lbs, pushing 40 lbs and raising up 60 lbs. Also I think you have to do 10 squats. I don't know if you have to squat under a simulated trailer and step up on a simulated ICC bar and knee onto a table which is like getting into a trailer like Schneider does. After each exercise they measure your heart rate. At any time if it goes over your target heart rate that's the end of the testing and you fail. Just watch your breathing.Last edited: Jun 10, 2010

Is that during a certain amount of time after the exercise or just immediately afterward?

Majestyk,
Do they pay you for time you are getting repaired in the yard? Also, how has not having a terminal in your home state affected your home time? I was told by them it doesn't and by other truckers, if you get stuck at a terminal or yard getting repairs, it is nice to go home and wait. What do you think? Thanks. -
Right after each exercise.
-
You don't get any kind of pay while you are at a terminal getting your truck fixed. They consider it time off. Our terminal was Marshfield and we live in Missouri. It never affected our home time. The truck was parked at a truck stop about 4 miles from our house. If your truck is going to be down for some time they will give you a loaner. So I really doubt you would be sent home waiting for your truck to be repaired.
-
So silly question, is it heart beats per minute they are measuring?
-
Why was it parked at the truck stop, was it down or was that during your home time. I live in TN with no yards or terminals nearby.

During ur home time,u need a place to park the truck. Either a truck stop,ur house,or some place that allows u to park there.
