Hello:
I am looking to get hire.
I live in Florida and have a place in North Carolina. I have a class A with haz-mat, tanker, doubles & triples, endorsements from Florida. I have not had any tickets in about 10 yrs, my DAC report, does not have anything on it. I am a recent graduate of Roadmaster trucking school. I am a hard worker and will stay out OTR as much as needed, will relocate if needed. I would prefer to work for a smaller company. But I don't know of any smaller companies, that will take recent graduate with no experience. If any smaller companies willing to hire students, or any drives that know of any. Please Post here or e-mail at gasmoney@comcast.net.
Thank you![]()

Thank you, jtrnr1951
I have some offers from some of the bigger companies, but was thinking that it might be better to start out at a smaller company. So i am not just a # to them. What do you think of it and what would you do? Or anyone else out there do? -
Your location in fl hurts, much better further north. North Carolina has many more opportunities.
Whatever you decide, just do NOT wait long after obtaining your CDL. In other words, don't let it get stale !!!!
Good Luck,...Head North,...It's really tough down here..............

Crete or its sister company Shaffer hires grads from PTDI schools.
BIGLOU52 Thanks this. -
If you dont mind staying gone, try Indian River out of Winter Haven and Byrun out of Auburndale, food carriers. And since you have your hazmat endorsement, why not try some of the fuel carriers, with them you can be home most everyday.

hey biglou52 try maverick transportation out of little rock arkansas, they will take only 2 days to get your info and bring you out for orientation. all exspenses paid, even lunch. you have to do 5 days classroom and 4 load securement but its nothin. i use to work for them. real good folks out there. they will let you choose 48 or se regional. thats what i done. good luck tho
