Jct - any bad news with these guys?

I don't know if you would consider this bad or not, but, their DriverSEA is 90.08 and their ISS-D Recommendation=INSPECT (Score Ninety-eight). I'm a wannabe who will be getting on the road this summer. I don't think I would be interested in being a "target" with CSA 2010 coming up. Might be just one more aggravation that I can do without as a new driver.

 

There is a thread on here that gives a lot of info on JCT, i have read all 480 pages(not at once), they talk about the good, bad, and ulgy.

I think Jct is the outfit that has those back up alarms on there trucks. Real smart move on there part to save a couple bucks on insurance. Every time one of there trucks backs into a space next to me late at night that stupid alarm wakes me up. If youre gonna drive one of those trucks be ready to get your ##### chewed out by other drivers.

 

well dont know where to start ,you start off good miles,for awhile its takes some time just to figuare out JCT make sure you can read a map or best to have a GPS the way you get paid is ok BUT for some reason youll get trips where it misses the cut off day for next weeks paycheck alot you can borrow miles to get paid that dont make payday,but they only let you do that 10 times a year,thats a bad habit to do,,it will screw you up beleive me, your truck has to be look at every 90 days for tires etc, I would swear on it they screw your truck up on purpose when its in there shop,so it gets you in the negitive real fast,once in the hole you cannot go anywhere else you have to get reroute back to our yard,a simple oil change will take all nite and youre stuck there no where to sleep except breakroom in a chair,,,youll start off with a good maintaince money that adds up fast then one day its gone,,if you like then putting USED batteries in your truck behind your back or screwing up with your alianment they will do it,,your not aloud to be in the shop watching them,I had a plug not tighten down it cost me alot they dont garrenty nothing they do ,,I had a shop boy throwing a new tire on because he could not find a tire patch that had a small nail in it ,,,I got stories about them im still there you got to really watch them,im now under 10.000 in the hole upper management will back them up all the way,except if you can find John C anywhere, you might get lucky,and its very easy to loose your bonus every quarter,just watch everything you do,keep it RIGHT!,

 

But from what I was told by other drivers is they pay for the repairs if you choose to use their maintnance program.

If you can do your own maint. its the best way to go. or service at the same shop all the time they get to know your trk. an you .
