That is exactly where Dad resides. I will pass your thanks. My bro Burt and I, took Dad out to Appleby's in Granite City, then we did the shopping excursion to Walmart.
Dad is 87 and a WWII Vet. He went through Europe just behind Easy Co. D-Day through Battle of the Bulge (Bastogne, Argonne etc). You'd never know that when talking with him. His mind is sharp, but the body grows weary. Had a stroke 8 years ago and will never leave the wheel chair. This VA home is great. The staff really do a great job and sincerely tend to the vets. Nest tuesday there is an excursion to Fairmont race track.
Dad is signed up. He is looking forward to the event, especially the free lunch and a $2 coupon with which to place a bet
One thing with Centrial I have gotten to visit with Dad more often.

ahh you are a couple days behind me... I was at R-place a couple days ago. Im still in Bolingbrook at the Pete dealer getting my power steering fixed. Our shop couldnt find anything wrong with it... gee i guess its supposed to be hard to turn when trying to back up. The Pete Dealer in Albany, NY fixed something that didnt need fixing and still had the problem... this dealer found that i had an internal leak causing the power steering fluid to bypass the pump but doesnt have the part until today.

Will relay. Only bad thing is the VA parking sucks for big trucks. Gotta work on that one. Enjoy your hometime DM. I am actually getting rid of my potatoes and going to visit my daughter in Dayton for hometime. My wife and mom-in-law are already there and I will join them tomorrow afternoon! Stay safe and in touch.

Take it you're coming from Chehalis? The assists aren't all that bad. A Little exercise if you're willing with some extra pay? One nice thing is the customer is usually happy to see you. The delivery windows can be confusing, but the stores, Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Twin Falls that I went to weren't too anal about it even though it was Sunday PM.

At the TA East of Springfield this evening, then off to my deliverys.
Grabbing a load out of Joplin when I am empty and have to drop it at my terminal in Ft. Smith.
Then who knows lol.
I just hope I can get some miles this weekend, since I am out.
I learned not to work weekends much, since we end up stuck sitting for the day Sunday more often than not. Maybe I will get lucky.
I do know that if I hit the terminal when open they will make me get an A service. So I will probibly get stuck ending my day there. -
Iowa, in Pocahontas IA, waitin out a good blow.
No no no, that's not right, just north of Storm Lake, arrived just in time for a tornado watch. At the intersection of 3 & 71, there's a Sinclair here with parking. They got a little truckers lounge that's pretty nice. And they even have a tiny Sinclair dinosaur out front, I like old Americana roadside art. Kinda odd that the magazine rack only had biker mags and porn, but the little deli has good food.
99 & 01 in Cherokee in the AM, then head to Savannah GA for a Monday 99. -
Stay out o' those girly mags! and watch out for the Kansas Widow Makers.
