ok how many people havegotten sick at TA Richmond Hill Ga

A couple of years ago I got a case of the Hershey Squirts after eating there. It really messed me up to the point I got a motel room for the night and bought stock in anti-hershey squirt drugs.

I haven't eaten at a T/A since.

 

Self inflicted, without a doubt !!!!!

Eating at any TA, is equal to Russian Roulette !!!!!

 

Probably, can't remember. It is a crap shoot. You never know what you're going to get at these places.

 

Most times I get sick it's a mystery which one, but you have a good idea.

That TA in Barstow, CA. I sat down for a steak dinner. Without looking I stuck a spoon in my mouth only to feel dried stuff on the spoon. It wasn't even cleaned. It was used and stuck back in the wrapper. That turned my stomach and I walked out. The manager called me and offered me a free dinner. I told him I wouldn't be back there. I did call the health inspector on them and they told me they would do an inspection on them. That's the last I heard. I check my silverware now.

Another nasty place is on US-30 in IN. I think its between Valparaiso and Plymouth. A Phillip66 truck stop?? on the north side of the road.
I bought a meatloaf dinner there. There was a long hair running through the mash potatoes and meat loaf. The waitress took the plate and brought it back nuked. You could tell it was the same food. They just pulled the hair out. I walked out of that place.

 

Not real sure, but I think that 66 you're thinking of has been gone for some time....if it's the one I'm thinking of.

 

I have never got sick off any of the food at a TA, but I have got sick from subways, quite a few times. They leave stuff like lettuce and tomatoes out all day and a lot of the T/S don't have the greatest of A/C. So that's when I quit subways.

I learned that canned soups and the occasional TV dinner is the way to go.

 

Got good and sick at TA in Lymon CO. Last time I went into one of those filthy dumps for anything but fuel. And little of that as possible. Guy I was running with got sick too. And we both ordered off menu to keep from getting sick off buffet.
