Pickens, I truely think that you are worrying too much at this point. If anything you will worry yourself into failing. Just take it easy, so far you aren't getting any readings that will toss you out, so just get yourself to the point where you are confident that you won't fail.

You're right. I just don't want to drive 1500+ miles for nothing. Bottom line, I will pass. Too much in to it not to.
-
I'm going to roehl too. Give us an update of how its going when you can. Thanks and best of luck to you!

(Time Engine is running) - (Time truck is moving forward) = (Idle Time)
(Idle Time) / (Time Engine is running) = Idle Percentage. Calculated by Calendar Month.
However, *you* can only see what you've done in the last 4-7 days on average, they took away the ability to see how you're doing on any given month, because drivers were using that as information to make idling decisions. and, as a company, we're against that. -
Yes. They said I could return in 6months.

I tried to test myself on the test, but the HR monitor thing I had was not working since my torso is larger than the intended user. (lol)
Just make sure you breathe all the way through the activities. Along with in between. Also cut out any caffiene and that should really help. Just stay calm and when they say go at your own pace do it. Its not a race to see how fast you can do the 10 squats or walk the length of the trailer. Don't rest too long in between, but do take your time.
I think you should be fine. You are working on it now just prepare yourself the best you can. Good luck, stay focused and do stop obsessing... lol -
They probably have a place in or close to your area or will be in your area at some point. Just call them tomorrow and they will set you up.

Thanks MORIARTI. Based on your formula, it looks as though a driver would be penalized for being stuck in traffic or am I reading too much into the "moving forward" description?
FYI...for any recent non-Roehl school graduates I just learned from one of their recruiters that Roehl requires you start employment with them within 60 days of your graduation. I found this out after asking if I could be scheduled for an orientation class in late August. I wanted the extra time to help my wife with summer camp transportation for our daughter and then with the transition of her starting a new school on August 16. OTR is going to be a new experience that affects the ENTIRE family, and the more I can do to make the change less painful the more I can focus on my new career. -
The idle time starts after a few minutes of non movement so really won't affect you at all in traffic jams unless you are at a complete standstill due to a wreck or something. I record my running time and idle time every Sunday night before it is erased so that I can keep up a running total myself for the entire month to know where I am at. Currently I am a little under 15% for June and haven't suffered any due to lack of a/c etc as of yet but I have also been is some relatively cool places for several nights. July and August may be different beast.
PCDoctor Thanks this. -
Thats good to hear majestyk.....would suck if if was a constant running total.
