any info on western star transportation in Carson, Ca.?

heres the lowdown on w.s in carson.. i just quit working 4 them , no pet policy and boss' daughter saw my dog, it was the dog or the job... anyways, they pull reefers w/ ltl loads out of caRSon, usually late friday night and saturday going to the midwest and east coast, .36 a mile, 35 bucks per drop. when you empty out in the east or even midwest somethimes you have to pull a couple of loads to get you back to l.a. but 50% its a straight load to shakey, now..everyone in the california office are great folks, say hi to jim in saftey if u call..the owner, (warren) is a lil hitler, jkackie, his daughter who runs the west bound loads from minn. is a and she rarely knows what i wanna go home or im dying my leg is hNGIN ON by a thread, and you better know how to manipulate logs and love looseleaf logs, cuz ura a chicken hauler in a 70mph truck... good people good money great equip,ent, all w900's t600/660s w/ studios and western stars..depending on where you live depends on how and when you go home, if you live in phx move on!

im moving to LA in a few mos. and trying to find a good company to work for have 40yrs exp i work for a LTL co. on the east cost now been with them 7yrs but they wont let me live in Calf and work out of NJ so im looking into Western Star can anyone help me wiyh any thing they know about them Thanks

 

ive been employed @western star for 12 years.u do ur job ,dont tear up the equip they pretty much leave u alone at least they leave me alone and let me do the job i was hired 2 do
