    People used to swap cassette tapes around. Now they swap hard drives. You end up with a lot of weird crap when you suck up entire drives at a time. I would know.

    I got that divx copy of CTHD way back when too. I bought it when it was available, not because I felt guilty or anything, but because it was good. I wanted it. People buy things they want. They don't like buying garbage, especially when someone tries to force them to. Pretty simple.

    This should be legal, in my opinion. I carry an external hard drive with me on the road, has my backups, but it also has a copy of every DVD I have at home, each one compressed down into a 600-700 megabyte xvid encoded avi file. Legal? Probably not, but it's a hell of a lot more convenient than carrying around 150 DVD cases.
