People used to swap cassette tapes around. Now they swap hard drives. You end up with a lot of weird crap when you suck up entire drives at a time. I would know.
I got that divx copy of CTHD way back when too. I bought it when it was available, not because I felt guilty or anything, but because it was good. I wanted it. People buy things they want. They don't like buying garbage, especially when someone tries to force them to. Pretty simple. -
Boo hoo hoo!!!

Without profit eventually there will be nothing left to watch but home-made youtube videos.
-
Oh Yeh ? Well some of those are better than the #### you spend $60 watching.Pur48Ted and Working Class Patriot Thank this. -
I get all my movies out of the Red Box for $1. You can't get much more reasonable than that. -
So you don't have a problem with people stealing from someone? Or, do you believe that only somethings are stealing?
Mark -
If I buy a photo from you and I decide to make myself another copy it's really none of your business. I've already paid for it, so therefore I do not consider that to be theft.
-
You have only paid for the one you purchased. You don't have the right to copy my work.
But, this country is being taken over by the generation that only cares about themselves.

This should be legal, in my opinion. I carry an external hard drive with me on the road, has my backups, but it also has a copy of every DVD I have at home, each one compressed down into a 600-700 megabyte xvid encoded avi file. Legal? Probably not, but it's a hell of a lot more convenient than carrying around 150 DVD cases.Pur48Ted Thanks this.
