Hey phroziac, what took you so long to leave those jokers? I was glad when I left them last August. Not to sound cliche, but when I turned my truck in to the Omaha yard, cleaned it out, and took a taxi to a hotel in downtown Omaha, it was as if a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. :biggrin_25514:

Now I hear that Werner is in financial trouble these days. How can a bottom-feeder company get in financial trouble in the first place? You would figure a company like that would have first dibs on many, many loads from alot of customers (due to hauling for cheap). :biggrin_25513:

werner is NOT in financial trouble, whatsoever. It's just not possible. They have billlllionnns in brand new trucks sitting in the dallas yard!!!! and thats just one terminal. Lets not even start on the used ones in Atlanta....

Hell, a while back everyone was saying that werner is buying hopper trailers...ROFL. so many rumours

Did you give notice, by the way? How'd they take it?

Looks like today is the day to turn in the equipment. Oh god.

Im going to channahon IL if they'll let me, if they want it at a "terminal" i'll go to indianapolis. i live 2 hours from channahon and 3 from indy. i havent even told em yet. I'll also be nice and write it up with the shop so maybe they'll fix it for the next driver.

God i hope they let me take it to channahon. I have a trailer and indy is soooo beyond full of trailers. Atleast when channahon is full we put trailers in the middle, instead of in front of other trailers...LOL..

When I quit, I took their POS back down to unsprungfield. Was the only time that good ol' graygar was decent to me. Ofcourse the plant food manufacturer at the desk had the same blank look in her eyes as the day I hired in. She may have been sitting in the same place with the same clothes on as well!!:biggrin_2559:

Oh no. I told my fleet manager I was quitting the week before. He was one of the few decent people there. He even offered to buy me a bus ticket home. The people I dealt with daily were always decent to me. Just the low low pay and the POS that broke down once a week made it just not worth it.:biggrin_25513:

i was gonna give them a weeks notice but its not working out that way..and i really cant afford to have to work for them this week. My dispatcher kinda has the "what do you want me to do about it" attitude. :/
