i have a galaxe 99 will my new antennas work

    I'm not fimilar with that antenna but as long as it is not defective and installed properly it should work with your radio.

    I had one for a while it was a good antenna until it broke, a #### tree got in it's way! Just get your rig tuned by a cb shop if you don't know how to do it yourself and they should be ok

    I've seen those in the truck stops and on trucks and I always thought they could get you by in a pinch but it was to me a throwaway..

    Personally Ive always run the wilson single 2000 or 5000 with a short base adapter that goes to the mount and then a I run a bit longer whip to compensate 8 to 10 inches you lose with the shorter adapter. With this if the whip gets damaged its always an easy fix. This setup for me could talk 30 miles or more on a good whether day on a 50 watt barefoot Galaxy 99.
