Just did my 05 t600. I used a medium gray metalic (sparkle) backing with a dark blue overlay. looks great. get the graghics guy to show you samples on the truck.

Yeah that, but in reverse order.
In 1994, Chrysler Concords/ Intrepeds had a color called "Char-Gold"; looked gold one way, gray another. After wife scratched her car, I ordered enough to do car, and trim bottom of my VERY dark green p/u. Looked really good against the dark paint.

Basically, Red, White and Black are the most Noticeable and Readable of any combination. Complimentary colors (red/green,yellow/purple, orange /blue) next to each other can give the appearance of Vibration. Go to the paint store and get some color chip samples and lay them on top of each other to get an Idea of how they might look together. Another thing to think about is to make sure that the lettering is the proper size so that it is Readable from a distance. A good sign painter/ lettering guy will know (should know) all about color combinations and readability.

Any sign shop can cut vynil letters. You can even get the letters to be reflective. This way when another vehicle goes by your door their headlights will seem to make the lettering glow.

Just remember, the letters will need time to set up. Once set up even a power washer will have a tough time getting them to peel.

I have a couple friends out here in Az who own sticker shops, i'll PM you their info, they can print any font, color combo or size you want, including Company Logo's and should be easy to get a price quote from, and yes they will ship the stickers to you no problem.

Btw, ask about the special edition prints, you can get carbon fiber look, Diamond plate, mirrored chrome, endless possibilities, hope this helps you out some! have a good one, check your inbox 8)

I saw an old FLD in Shreveport that was all done up in satin black--no chrome at all. The lettering was a vivid, almost florescent, green with no outlining. Now THAT was a sharp looking truck.

That's about as close as I can find to a pic of the colors.
