change antennas on 09 Cascadia??

umm.... no it wont interfere,reduce or improve ur sx radio, as they are satilites...
as for the cascadia cb antennas, i changed mine out, i installed a wilson 2000 ran my own coax from the cb to the back of my truck were i have my cb mounted... problem is the mounts on the cascadia trucks are up to hight to instal some of these {preferd} aftermarket antennas, so, rather then loosing the tip of my wilson i bought a mounting bracket that goes from the grab bar on the back of the sleeper and installed it on there, now it comes up to the top of the roof line.. my cb is tuned, n having ur own coax could help as the factory coax is junk, and i would imagine the antennas are not much better either..

Do you find that your signal radiation is very directional with the antenna mounted in the back of and below your cab?

 

Well, here's what I did. I was in a '10 Cascadia. My radio was peaked and tuned and SWRs set with (2) 4' K-40 tunable tip antennas. You can find them at a Love's. Honestly, I didn't do much tuning with the antennas at all. Just remember to take the adapters off of the FL antennas and install them on the new ones. They're tough to get off, but you can take them off with a 1/2" and 9/16" wrench. Install those on the K-40s and everything should be great. I've heard that they have also worked really well with stock radios, too.
