100+ Degres Across I-10 Today

Dang its only 103 out here in 29 palms. It is usually hotter then that out there. Seen it at 131 last summer!!!

 

Better break out your winter coat and start a fire in the fireplace!

 

ok i will stop complaining about 95 today.

 

LOL its over 110 this whole week and its probably about 100 outside already and its only 930!!!

 

Im always amazed at the people that set out to cross the desert without water, just surprising....

 

Milskilred the local weatherman said it would be about 10 degrees cooler this weekend, then back to normal on Monday. Anyway 29 stumps is usually about 5 or so degrees cooler than here in the lowlands. Powder Joints people quite often go out unprepared, especially if they are new to the desert. Heat related problems and deaths are quite common here.

 

Whats the purpose of this thread? Unless its winter, its always hot on I-10....and in winter, its atleast not that cold!

 

not cold??? Up by me in 29 its in the 20s and 30s everyday which is pretty cold seeing as in the summer I have seen it at 134 degrees and I have seen it in the winter at about 5 degrees.

 

Thats not cold! I live in michigan on the i94/us31 corridor!
