Ahhh.. Shoot. Ever since I switched fleets.. All I get are qc messages..."Are you almost there?" "Why aren't you there?" "Why why why why?" Gosh man.. I'm growing sicker every hour that passes with this crap.. I'm just gunna service fail a few in a roll, at least then, they'll have a reason to bother me. I'm about ready to leave central to all the 2 day drivers and go over across the street to england.. Maybe ill get a hit instead of the miss I'm dealin with at central.. I don't see how jj did it for multiple years..

I used to get those till I went off on N/W one time. Then we had a talk and that crap don't happen no more.

Finaaly hit the dock after 7 hours. Headin to Clearfield in a bit, then to our yard in Fontana Mexico. I desperately need a few days off.

Ain't that difficult to pull into a Blue Beacon, of which there is one about 20-25mi from here.

No, its all part of that " I'm special and don't have to respect other drivers because I'm a one week veteran." Attitude.. I'm seeing it more and more everyday.. Not just from our guys..who btw.. Are more unfriendly, than most hostiles in their enviroments, but you know who to watch for..

Cuttin in front of you with barely inches to spare, gettin pissy and going around you as your backing into a space they only dream of backing into.. That crap..

You know, I've never had blood in my trl but I sure do usually have about a pallet left in around a thousand pieces in there.. So guess what.. I bought a magical thing called a broom.. And I sweep...

My biggest problem.. Learn how to drop a trailer the right way.. Don't jack the landing gear up and leave a foot and a half(seriously I measured once..) Above my 5th wheel.. What the hell are these trainers doing out there?

Speaking of that, have never done a D&H at a meat plant yet, that I didn't have to drop a tlr 4"'s minimum. Having to use the low gear no less. And now, those yard dogs are parking the dang things so close together, that you can't even operate the crank. Heck, I can't even get to it half the time!!!!!!

I do not even try when it is like that. I find a yard dog and ask him if he can grab it out if I am picking one up and have them put it in the hole if I am dropping and it is too tight.
Though normally the drop area is not too tight, normally the issues are in the loaded area.
I have never had one give me any issues when I ask them to grab the trailer out when it is too tight. Also the yard dogs will normally help you when the trailer is jacked up too high. They will pick it up so you can raise the legs some. When they are like this you may notice that allot of the time all the trailers in the lot are that way. Because some half trained yard dog does it and not the driver that dropped. Or it was dropped in a dirt lot and when loaded is on a concrete pad, so it sits higher.

well finally back online after taking the 4th off in phoenix. And BACK to my normal cycle of stuff... perfect trl, crap load.

Apparently, if dispatch messes up they call receivers to get appts changed! If driver messes up they dont call. My meat load was preset on me to pick up during my hometime. :biggrin_2556: I set my mac 6 to 7/4 at 0500. preset appt was 7/3 at 1942 to take my 10 at the shipper since its a meat load. Shipper was about 300 miles away from where I in the opposite direction of where I am supposed to go with it, so getting the load and getting back to where i started takes about a day by it self. I didnt even know about it until I called Bruce on 7/3 before my parent's 25th anniversary dinner. He asked me where I was and told me about my meat load and looked at my mac 6 and tried to call a planner to see what was going on. The planner didnt get back to him so I called about noon on 7/4 to find out what was going on. Planner STILL didnt call him back and I STILL didnt mac 11. Finally at about 1500, Billy asks me if i could go with it because it was an emergency load given to me. Since he helped my trainer and I out several times while i was training so we wouldnt sit for too long, I took the load. Already ran 2 11 drive / 10 off days. When I got to the 01 things went smooth although looking at the BOL manifest it appears that the load wasnt ready until probably 4 hrs after the drop dead time. Good thing i didnt come earlier and waste my hrs. Stopped at TTT in Tuscon yesterday and now at the TA in big spring, tx today. and C/S QC'd me sending me a new receiving appt for 02 in lewisville, tx and 99 in dallas.
